Schedule:
Field Status for Technical tonight - we will be notified by the city of Myrtle Beach at 3:00pm today. We had a lot of rain yesterday.
BUFC, Hammerheads Partnership:
If you have any questions about the new partnership, Thuba will be doing a Q&A at the fields on Wednesday @6:00pm. Market Common fields (Main Complex).
New Technical Director:
We would like to congratulate coach Joseph Anderson as our new Technical Director for Beach United FC. Coach Joe brings a lot of experience to our club having played collegiate soccer at Coastal Carolina University and playing professional soccer upon graduating in college. Coach Joe will oversee player develop, parent education, oversee BUFC and Hammerheads coaching curriculum and report to Will Heaney ECNL Director and Thuba BUFC Director on a weekly basis. email for coach Joe - admin@bufc.soccer.
Tournaments:
We have two home tournaments coming up. April 12-13 - U13 and older teams. Teams will play this tournament.
April 26-27 - U12 and under. This is tournament during spring break and a lot of the players have already reached to Thuba about not being available that weekend. We might have to find another tournament in the future. Your assigned coach will be in touch.
Tryouts:
Market Common (Main Complex).
Tryout fee $30 & Sport Science subscription for BUFC Players $20. Total tryout fee is $50. We will be adding a subscription for sports science where players will get information about nutrition and training workloads.
U7-U12 - May 7-8 5:30pm-7:30pm Rain Date May 10th @ 10:00am.
U13-U19 - May 13-14 5:30pm-7:30pm Rain Date May 15th @ 5:30pm-7:00pm.
