Our Tryouts/Evaluations give players from around the Myrtle Beach area the opportunity to join a BUFC team.

2025 PARTNERSHIP:

The Hammerheads Soccer Club and Beach United FC are excited to announce a strategic partnership aimed at enhancing the player experience in Myrtle Beach and further strengthening youth soccer across the coastal region.

Under this new partnership, Beach United and Hammerheads Soccer will collaborate on all aspects of club operations, with a particular focus on improving the player and family experience. Special attention will be given to the early development age groups, including refining practices, coaching, and curriculums to help young players advance in the game.

In addition to improving the developmental experience, this partnership will provide Beach United players and families with a direct pathway to the Hammerheads Soccer Club’s ECNL teams— the only ECNL member club in the coastal region. This will open up new opportunities for players within the prestigious ECNL program.

We are excited to announce that registration for the 25/26 season is now open! With our new partnership, we will operate under the Hammerheads Team Path account, bringing many benefits for the coming year.

Please register on the Hammerheads Registration page HERE, choosing either 5A or 5B based on your child's placement. This summer, we will transition from the BUFC account to the Hammerheads Team Path account.

Spring Tryout Dates for Boys & Girls Fall 2025 Season:

• Boys and Girls U7-U12:
  • Age Groups: 2019 through 2014 Birth Years
  • Dates: Wednesday, May 7th and Thursday, May 8th, 5-30pm-7:30pm
  • Rain Date: Saturday, May 10th, 10:00am
  • Location: Market Common, Forbus Court, MB
     
• Boys and Girls U13-U19:
  • Age Groups: 2013 through 2008 Birth Years
  • Dates: Tuesday, May 13th and Wednesday, May 14th, 5:30pm-7:30pm
  • Rain Date: Thursday, May 15th, 5:30pm-7:00pm
  • Location: Market Common, Forbus Court, MB
     
• Forms:
  • All players need to fill out a medical release form. We will have extra forms at the field.
  • New players need to bring copies of their birth certificate. No originals.
     
• Other: 
  • Merchandise - we will have items for sale during tryouts. 
  • Players are required to attend at least one (1) session. 
     
• League Cost: 
  • Will be determined and announced soon.

• What to Bring:  
  • Cleats, water, shin guards.
     
• Tryout Cost:  
  • Tryout fee $30 & Sport Science subscription for BUFC Players $20. Total tryout fee is $50. We will be adding a subscription for sports science where players will get information about nutrition and training workloads.
